Logistics Committee member, Consultation Committee Chair,
Networking Committee Liaison, Local Area Reporter, Employment
Chair, Sara Aull Student Paper Competition Committee member,
and Quarterly Bulletin Business Advertising Manager.
Larry Skladanowski recollected experiences of Ann’s early career during 18 years employment working
with him at the Lorillard Research Center Library in Greensboro, NC. Larry labels Ann an "idea person", passionate about creating new information products and services within organizations, and continuing contributions to NC/SLA through meeting sponsorships and participation via InfoCrofters.
Receiving the NC/SLA Chapter Meritorious Achievement Award, Ann reflected that her most significant achievement was simply recognizing, early-on, the tremendous talent resident within the NC/SLA Chapter, and that active Chapter participation tethers us to successful information leaders.
