MARC Notepad

The MARC Notepad editor is the perfect companion to BookWhere for day to day copy cataloging activities and well as retrospective conversion projects.  Use BookWhere to capture MARC records, then import records into MARC Notepad to perform edits, remove extraneous tags and subfields, and add local holdings information at the point of capture to dramatically improve overall copy cataloguing workflow.  $219 includes 1 year maintenance (software upgrades and technical support from WebClarity.  (Note:  If Inmagic DB/TextWorks Catalog users are satisfied with the Inmagic-tagged record format exported  directly from BookWhere, then the MARC Notepad software is not necessary.  MARC Notepad is useful if you prefer to download the entire MARC record and perform significant and repetitive catalog record modifications before importing into your DB/TextWorks Catalog.)
